Margaritaville at Sea is looking to partner with advisors as it launches its third ship — and its popular annual pass will return.
Margaritaville at Sea is riding a wave of momentum into 2027, and CEO Oneil Khosa wants travel advisors along for the ride. In an exclusive conversation with Travel Market Report, Khosa outlined the line's expansion plans, including a new homeport in Galveston, Texas, the return of its wildly popular annual pass, and fresh details on the upcoming Beachcomber vessel.
The Galveston announcement is significant. It gives Margaritaville at Sea a foothold in the Gulf Coast market, tapping into a massive base of Texas and Southern travelers who have historically driven to Florida for short Caribbean getaways. "Galveston changes our addressable market dramatically," Khosa said.
The annual pass — which allows unlimited sailings for a flat fee — sold out quickly when it launched and generated enormous buzz on social media. Khosa confirmed it will return for 2027, with some modifications based on feedback from the first cohort of pass holders.
For advisors, Khosa was emphatic: Margaritaville at Sea sees the trade as a key growth channel. The line is building out its advisor portal and commission structure, and Khosa said he personally meets with advisor groups at industry events.
